Lori Henderson, Program Co-ordinator for Strong Start, receives a donation of $500.00 from Tom Waldschmidt, Chair of the Paris Central School Council. The donation has been made to celebrate the end of the first year of Strong Start Letters, Sounds and Words programming at the school. Throughout this year, community volunteer coaches and children have enjoyed the time that they have spent together, having fun and boosting reading skills at the same time. Congratulations and thanks to the members of the school staff who have supported this successful implementation to enhance early literacy and connect with the community.
