As the Program Co-ordinator for the Baby Connections® program, Iwona is responsible for supporting program partners, training instructors, and analyzing program data. Iwona is also Strong Start’s Program Operations Manager, providing support to Letters, Sounds and Words™ program partners, participating school coordinators, and Volunteer Coaches with expertise in the program implementation, delivery and reporting. Iwona has over 25 years’ experience working with young children, joining Strong Start in 2008 as a Letters, Sounds and Words™ Volunteer Coach Trainer and now manages the training program for all Strong Start programs. She has a Bachelor of Arts, Joint Honours Russian and German, and a Bachelor of Education, Primary/Junior from Wilfrid Laurier University. In addition to her roles at Strong Start, Iwona works with children aged 2½-14 as a Behavioural Intervention Therapist, providing ABA/IBI services. She has extensive experience supporting children with Exceptionalities, working in collaboration with Psychologists, Speech Language Pathologists and other therapists to help all children reach their potential.
