What Do Volunteers Do?

Our early literacy programs help thousands of children each year learn to read. With hundreds of sites running our Letters, Sounds and Words™ program and our Get Ready for School™ program, we have plenty of materials to manage.

We welcome students as well as community members to volunteer as an Inventory Assistant, helping inventory and re-package the games and activities used in our programs. Tasks may include counting and organizing materials, rebundling the items used during the course of our programs, washing and cleaning toys, lifting and moving boxes and other duties as assigned.
