Introduction to Training Schedules
Below you will find the training schedule for Waterloo Region and Wellington County. The schedule for Brant, Haldimand, Norfolk will be posted in the fall. Register through the Site Co-ordinator at the school where you will volunteer.

Welcome and thank you for being willing to help children learn to read!
Training sessions for the Fall 2010 are outlined below, both Part 1 sessions and Part 2 sessions. New volunteers need to attend a Part 1 and a Part 2 session. Experienced volunteers are not required to attend training but are most welcome to join any session(s) for a refresher. You will be given your own copy of the manuals at the training session.
- Please let your Strong Start® Site Co-ordinator for this program (at your school), know the dates and times you will attend. Your Site Co-ordinator will register all the volunteers for your site.
- For travel directions use the map link for the location of the session you have chosen. (Phone numbers appear beside each site if you need further help with directions.)
- Please do not call the site to register. Registration is done through your Site Co-ordinator at the school where you volunteer.
