The Strong Start® literacy project is successful in helping thousands of young children acquire the skills they need in learning to read. That success is due, in large part, to the dedicated Volunteer Coaches who give their time and talents to the program and to the wide images/Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundationarray of financial supporters who fund the program. One of those funders, the Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation, is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year. The Strong Start® Charitable Foundation congratulates them as they celebrate this important milestone.

The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation improves the quality of life in Kitchener-Waterloo and area, now and for generations to come, by building community endowment, addressing needs through grant making, and providing leadership on key community issues.
