A Generous Gift from the Cooper Team
A big thank you to Peter and Grant Cooper for their many hours of work in constructing wooden learning toys for Strong Start®. The sections of this toy rotate to show the child in Strong Start® how to start with one word and make new words by changing one letter. Peter, a teenager who is already finding ways to help others in the community, worked with his grandfather, Grant.
Grant Cooper and Lloyd Scorgie designed these wooden toys several years ago and have been supplying Strong Start® with this learning tool every year. This year Peter and Grant formed a team and donated 100 wooden toys needed to create new program kits for the expansion of the Strong Start® program. Our ongoing appreciation goes to Grant and a special thank-you to Peter for his generous gift of time and talent!
