Thank you Teachers’ Choir
A huge THANK YOU to Conductor Tammy McMath and the Waterloo Region Teachers’ Choir for their recent benefit concert for Strong Start®. The Teachers’ Choir, along with the Kodaly Choirs of Driftwood Park and Sandhills Public Schools, presented a fabulous evening of glorious music May 1st, 2006. About 400 people were entertained and moved by the joyous sounds of the choirs.
The concert raised almost $1,800 for the Strong Start® literacy program providing yet another example of how this community continues to rally around its children to ensure that they learn to read. Thank you to all who attended – you have helped to make a difference in the lives of many children.
