Child aged 4 to 8 Book: Listen to the Wind by Greg Mortenson and Susan L. Roth

This is a true story of a new school that was built in Pakistan, in an area that desperately needed one, with the help of a man named Greg Mortenson. Greg had stumbled into the village of Khorpe, sick and hungry. A year later, he returned and together, with the people of the village, he helped build a school, giving the children an opportunity for better education. This is a powerful story of how how person can make a difference.

  • Clean up after someone who left dishes in a food court in the mall.
  • Pick up trash in your neighbourhood.
